And on a P2 good luck getting access to the distributor 😂

There was a trick of using STP fuel injector cleaner neat in the distributor to clean it out, I can’t remember which pipe you pour it through, but I’m sure a search will yield results.

Not being funny but the best people to answer that will be the LPG place - if you explain you've had running problems and it's been suggested as a common fault it may prompt them to investigate otherwise it might be something they wouldn't normally look at.

Would anyone know of a LPG specialist around the west midlands that would deal with these factory fit volvos? i only really know of one garage but said they cant touch the car as they dont have the software/support the system installed and would need to go to volvo themselves?

Another way of approaching it is to find out who made the LPG ECU for Volvo and then find a local LPG installer that deals with that brand.

In that case i'd suggest finding a Koltec LPG dealer. Someone must have experience of the system somewhere!

I will have a search around and see! its a nice car to drive around so it would be good to get the lpg sorted for it (plus its getting a pain with the reduced mileage using petrol)

i do notice that on petrol it is all fine and idles fine, when it is on gas you can hear the engine pulsing a bit, its just the tricky part of finding someone who can look at it!
