Scotland: - October Meeting

Folks, reminder that our October Meeting will be next Sunday, 30th October at the Volvo Truck & Bus depot, (Cardonald) 9 Fifty Pitches Place, Glasgow G51 4GA

Please note the earlier start time of 12:30 to accommodate the centre's staff & opening hours and consideration be given that its a working Commercial Business.

Would be most grateful if you could give me an indication of numbers so I can advise the centre.

Definitely count me in for this one, I've not had much contact with the rest of the Scottish chapter this year or any year as it happens, it local-ish as well.

Numbers as accurate as I can would be myself and 3 others, Dad, Brother and Niece (try and start them early)

My daughter is moving in to her first house tomorrow, and Volvo is called into duty as a trailer pulling device for her stuff....so another meet I will miss. Have a great day all, gbn.

An excellent meet at Scottish HQ of Volvo Truck and Bus in Glasgow. A very pleasant lunch followed by an excellent presentation of Volvo trucks in Scotland and Volvo trucks generally by a very knowledgeable John Russell. A test drive of the new Volvo FH artic unit through the depot and finally a visit to the workshops. Well attended,enthusiastic group and a pleasure to see some new faces.
John is also the owner of a very tidy C70! Trying to convince him he should sell it!
