Hi
Had a great trip to France but without any definitive solution about where to fit my toll tag. I only went through 4 booths 2 at start and 2 at end. On each occasion I held the tag against the screen close to the cover behind the mirror with no response from the barriers. As I moved the tag away to hold it out of the window the barrier beeped and went up, so I really don't know where the optimum position is. It seems the heated screen was interfering with the signal. Next time I go to France I intend to attach the tag temporarily to the housing behind the mirror and see what happens. Cheers everyone. |

That could be a very valid point, hadn't thought of that as I always assumed the receiver was in the gantry above the toll gate. Cheers. |

Mine is in the same place. Again a heated screen. And it has always worked on half a dozen trips through France.
I believe that the sensor is a flat plate on a pole on the lhs near the barrier... |
