B230FT, with AW Automatic transmission. The trans shouldn't have an issue with the extra power should it?

Thanks, another stupid question;
How do I set the boost with a boost controller? I have a boost gauge in the dash but it doesn't tell me anything. I presume ill have to buy a gauge to set the boost.

When setting the boost is it done with the engine running at full power or on idle?

I can't find anything on it!
