Next to no chance mate, the last known source dried up last year.
This is my solution, £40 and a days fiddling about should see you right: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showp...5&postcount=98 |

I bought one from Germany and it looks ok but I've heard they are sh*te so never fitted it. Managed to pick up a couple of really good condition second hand ones though

Hi Barkster1971,
I have the same problem, I'm currently using a Mk 1 VW Golf valve, which I'm adjusting manually as the cable was buggered... There are still lhd valves available, does anyone know if these can be adapted?? Otherwise, I may have a look at plumbase....!! |

There is a very good earlier thread (at least one) on this topic. My memory is that the LHD version is NOT adaptable. I also had the problem. I tried the VW golf valve and other versions as well but had issues with them all. In the end I used one from a Corolla of all things..... It is in for about 3 years now and is perfect. I will try to dig out the link to the thread later and also post here if I can find it.... Mike |

This is a link to the post I did in 2021. Bob12, it refers back to your post in 2006 about the VW mk 1 valve. Please see #9. https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=314716 I also tried the VW valve but did not work out for me. In #10, I refer to the corolla valve, unfortunately, I did not know the model it came from at the time. Sorry Bob12. If it is any use there is a photo on #10 of the corolla valve in place. It is still perfect today. If I do find out the corolla model, I will update here later. Chris1Roll’s option looks a good option too…… Mike |
