1999 Volvo S70 2.4SE Auto for sale
Thank you for looking at my ad
Volvo S70 2.4SE 5sp Auto. Car is beige/gold with oak[?] interior and booster seat. Only due to ULEZ are we having to sell our car of almost 21 years. We are the 3rd owners, originally a lease vehicle. Personally I would say it is too good to scrap, so prefer a member here to keep the car as many good years in her yet. Mileage is around the 177k mark but mostly used in town in the last few years as work is local. Plus I brought my other dream car...Citroen C6. I have maintained the car myself so could talk about it for hours! The most recent work involved all new suspension front and rear. New rear calipers, discs, pads and handbrake shoes. I have an excel sheet that I have maintained with all the work completed, inc gearbox fluid changes, power steering and brake fluid changes. Engine light comes and goes, but happened after our Cat was stolen and I have fitted a type approved unit. Turns out it was about an inch too short and I have tried to seal it myself, but the code is due to exhaust blow. I still plan, at some point, to look at this again. And to paint the rear calipers gold! Bodywork is ok, I have tried wet sanding in the past, but I don't have a paint depth gauge so didn't go crazy. Bumpers and rear drivers door have been painted in the past so do stand out now compared to the original bodywork. Yes car has stone chips and odd small dent here and there. No corrosion that I have picked up, but I have a spare spray can and touch up paint. All round Michelin tyres fitted and will come with many spare parts I have accumulated over the years. In addition, I have added a dashcam come rear view mirror. Heads-up display, TPMS and Dolby system as the car came with SC 901 as standard. All functions work inc air con, but I top up the gas myself, as many years ago I did use some air con sealant product. Alloys I tried refurbishing myself but got damaged when Halfords fitted the current tyres. At the moment, since last MOT [Dec 2022], I have played around with the headlights, so fitted [poorly] bi-xenon with HID ballast projector headlights. Car will come with a new set of headlights for peace of mind for the new owner. I am sure I have missed something, so happy to answer any questions Looking for £1500 ono, car is located in the UB2 area [West London] In the most ideal of situations I would have kept the car in a yard somewhere for the next 16 years until it is 40 years old, but alas I have no such space Photos to add in due course |

Hi there,
Your car sounds a very good example but unfortunately the pictures aren't showing? Thanks, Joseph

Pics are showing for me but they are massive, I've resized them to be a little more forum friendly
