End of Warranty Inspection
quick question for the people that have taken out the 2 years extension with Volvo, did you have to have an end of warranty inspection at the dealership selling you the warranty?
I did and it was in the workshop for 18 minutes, after I had waited over an hour.

I did as they offered it for free as part of the service - mainly so anything can get fixed/they make money from Volvo prior to end of 3 years. If done outside the service they would have charged for it (can't remember how much). I don't think it was a requirement, whereas I know at Porsche you have to do the check prior to extending a warranty

Warranty Direct have been up and running again for a few months now, they did stop taking renewals via the public and were only supplying warranty in the trade for a few months but all up and running again. One thing that was popular with Warranty Direct was the wear and tear element they would cover it, obviously brake pads and such were not covered but suspension components, steering components, drive shafts were covered.
