Default T4 Dump Valve Kit

I'm bored with how quiet my T4 engine is and want to release some inner chav,

Anyone got a dump Valve kit for a T4?

Once I've scratched the itch, I'll remove it immediately!

Thanks
Ross

Have you put an airfilter on it conical one? This will also do the same as a dump valve intact I think it sounds a lot better, standard recirc noise.

Nah I have an uprated panel filter.

I don't want to add a cone filter as I've had problems with decreased fuel economy and running rich in the past, I'm not a fan of them.

I'm happy with the T4 performance and economy at the moment, I just want to hear something happening under the bonnet.

I've seen a couple of dump valve kits forsale on here for £40-50, but there isn't any at the moment.

That's totally up to you, I personally can't stand dumpvalves, everyone has them just think there for boy racers to let everyone know they have a turbo......

Slevin: you need the blanking plate as you remove the recycler valve, fit the blanking plate in it's place then pipe in the dump valve, closer to the throttle body, the better iirc ;

as mentioned you need the blanking plate, i think forge sell them seperate, if not just make one up out of some thick sheet metal, just be sure to use a gasket of some sort to stop air leaks

best place for fitting -

If you need a blanking plate I think I've got a spare turbo with one on it
