Advice Req'd - ECM & Forward Loom
Hello
I need to test the forward loom due to running / ECM issues, but need some advice before I make things worse. Attached is a sketch of the loom (taken from the Volvo wiring diagrams) circled in blue. I suspect the problem is at the connections marked 23/8, 2/9 & 23/18 My question is can these be accessed with the loom still in the car, as it seems to be pretty securely covered?? If not what is the best method of removing it ?- Access seems pretty restricted. Lastly, if necessary I'd like to test the wiring all the way back to the ECM. To do this I guess I'd need to remove the ECM. How is this done? Does the ECM Module just pull out as mine seems pretty well stuck. Thanks in advance...
