Iirc, PC will run for a max of 20 mins or until it has used up all the residual heat or until the battery charge falls below a certain level.
I am sure you referring to Keep Climate Comfort and not Parking Climate - talk about muddied water!

Just a quick one folks, while I am waiting for the car to go in tomorrow for Parking Climate to be looked at - I have been using Remote Start some 5 mins before the journey. I have noticed it does not seem to fire up the heater and seat heating - I have looked and tried various options but dont seem to kick in. Anyone any idea of what needs setted (and how while you're at it plz)?

In the Settings > Climate menu, there are tick boxes you need to tick for auto seat heating and auto steering heating to kick in.

Note that, these settings only heat the seat/steering only when outside temperature is less than 10 degrees.

If your profile is not locked, the car remembers the last set temperature. When you use Remote Start, the heating should come on as well, depending on what temperature is currently set.

Thanks, tried it this morning and seems to have worked, walked into a nice and warm car. Dropped the car off to service station this am and the Master Technician said it would probably need an app reinstalled, tried that there and then but still the same error. They will have a look at it and lemme know. Also looking at fixing a recall about EGR or something x

RP83, glad you got the remote start sorted, really is nice on these cold mornings to jump into a warm, defrosted car.

Have the garage confirmed that you do have an Aux Heater fitted?

Cheers! I did get the car back earlier today but I was told that D5 do not have Preconditioning available - 1 MILLION % - not my words, just what "Master Technician" said to me! What do I know!! They also looked at one of the recall and did some remedy work but cant tell me what exactly is that they did! - all hush hush, not sure why though!

After I was told that they did "Total Software upgrade", I pointed no difference on dashboard symbols about Automatic Start and Stop, Pilot Assist, Sound option etc etc - they said they will have to look into it!! I am starting to loose faith in this dealership!
