Question Need Help with XC90

Hi all first time poster and I am posting this on behalf of my father in law as he is not computer literate atall.
Really hoping someone can help out with advice here as he is at his wits end with this so here goes....

2007 Volvo XC90 D5 Engine

He has removed injectors (using puller tool) and in doing this had to remove the solenoids. Injectors have been thoroughly cleaned and everything is back where it should be. What he wants to know is do the injector codes have to be re-programmed as the solenoids have been removed or should they still be stored in ECU? Engine only starting using Easy Start spray at the moment. Fuel is defenitely going to injectors, high pressure pump is working. Any advice would be appreciate and thanks in advance.

Perhaps we should first be told what fault he was trying to fix that prompted him to remove the Injectors in the first place?

I'd then want to know who did the cleaning, and by what method?

He said it was to replace the swirl flaps. The injectors were cleaned by himself, using oil remover.
Apologies for the vague opening thread, I am just typing what he is asking me to as I have zero knowledge of cars but thanks for responding
