Dear VV1976,
May I suggest you may fare better starting a new thread rather than adding to this one. It's also worth checking you are posting in the appropriate area of the forum for your car. Having said that, here in the UK, if it's the original radio that came with the car, a Volvo dealer should be able to supply the code. It may well be the same in the USA. Why not give them a try? Martin. |

If it is the original radio that came with the car from new, a Volvo dealer should be able to look it up on the Volvo database. This service is normally free so if they start talking money, try another dealer.
It may be easier in the UK as the registration of the car stays with it for life unless someone puts a personal number on it. |

You don't need the software to set up the pump. It can be done by a competent mechanic with a suitable dial gauge.
Here's how you do it. Once the timing has been set and the bolt holding the drive pilley to the camshaft has been torqued up, don't forget to loosen the locking bolt on the injection pump and replace the shim before attemptiong to turn over the engine otherwise you'll damage the pump.
