Default ETM refurb - BBA - Complaint ?

My garage sent the ETM on my V70 in to BBA which was sent back apparently working fine BBA having found a fault. Sadly it did not resolve the problem so garage sent it back where it spent over a week before being returned but BBA now saying that its a mechanical fault they cannot remedy.

Why was this not picked up first time ?

I paid £250 for that plus all the hassle of having the car off the road. Should this warrant a full refund , garage informed me it will only be a part refund ?

Just goes to show its a gamble with these things, it would have cost me less all told to get Volvo just to put a new one in in the first place.

Agree with the previous post re: Spokozulik, also there was a similar thread a while back where I think BBA refunded the money.

Thanks for suggestion but in a previous thread spokoluzik said if its an internal mechanical fault then its doomed.
The garage are waiting to hear back from BBA about refund.
