Default Transmission service urgent warning on a d5 auto

Hi guys had this come up on car other day and never done since. Car has been at a specialist and cannot fault the car??

Now from a lot of reading all I can find is this fault with the t6. Any d5 owners out there had similar that can assist?

Thanks

I had the same on mine... came up on journey back from France.

ATF (automatic transmission fluid) change sorted it and never seen it again search gibbons method for doing it at home... it's time consuming to do and you really do need a nice day, not a ****ty rainy day blowing a hoolie!! Yes, I did put mine on hold over night to finish it the next day!!!

Best to get the error codes read from the TCM by someone with VIDA, although as has been said it's not unheard of for it to appear and then disappear. If your ATF fluid is black, smelly or it hasn't been changed for over 70k now would be a good time to do it.... lots of info on hear as to how.
