Starter motor delay
In the recent cold weather (my first winter with the car) the delay between pressing the start button and the motor turning has been increasing (first thing a.m. only). The motor's then turning the engine well, but is this nevertheless likely to be a sign of a failing battery or is it par for the course in the winter?
Many thanks in anticipation. |

On my old series Land Rover it's ... Switch on, hold the glow plug switch down, count to 20, turn the key!
(And then try again) |
