Removing 2005> plastic headlight glass removal
While I have the bumper off my 2005 (facelift) S60 to replace the intercooler I figured I'd give the headlights a spruce up.
They have the usually misting in the finish on the outside but also some degradation internally so I'd like to remove the glass (plastic) and polish them inside and out. I had a bit of time today so had a look at removing them by softening up the adhesive using heat with no luck. I've read in another thread that Volvo headlights are sealed using a rubber compound which doesn't react to heat. Has anyone successfully removed theirs? |
