Default V40 Diesel Filter Bleed

Hey guys,

Hope someone can help me out as currently we hve a car that won’t start up since changing fuel filter, car is a 2015 V40. Am I right in thinking that there’s a return pipe you can disconnect and crank the engine or suck it through on the left of thr engine? I can see a red connector to the left and just below that a green one. Further round to the left and bit more down there is a white one which seems to go from the return out of the filter down to the something on the engine

Thanks for any help

It is essential to have the hand pump tool inserted between the inlet pipe on the filter and the inlet pipe from the tank , the hand pump then draws fuel from the tank and pumps it into the filter and back to the tank expelling the air . Hopefully you have used the genuine volvo filter with the blue dot on top which is improved and has a better chance of not restricting the flow before it is due to be changed .
