I have a set of Rostra solenoids in the garage that are nearly new.

I bought them years ago and fitted to my V70 T5. Didn't fix my problem so I put a whole new valve body in which did fix it. So the Rostra valves only did a maximum of 1K miles.

I got them from USA. I've never seen them for sale in the UK. They've come down a lot in price since I bought them (now around £120 inc taxes etc).

PM me if you're interested in buying mine and I'm sure we could strike a deal.

Forget about refurbishing your solenoids, get the Rostra ones
. If the above deal doesn't conclude, you may look up on Ebay but careful because there are plenty of shady sellers who don't send the ones in the listing pictures. I talk a little at the beginning of this video - the ones you see are genuine Rostra https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RJyYRQxbZA

Once you remove your old solenoids, measure the adjustment on each one, and adjust the new ones consequently. Rostra says their replacement ones are factory adjusted, but Volvo says each car may had had a different solenoid tuning when it left the factory 15 years ago. To adjust the solenoids you'll need a thin allen key + watch a few youtube videos
