Default Rear support arms

Hi everyone, can anyone please help in the identification of which rear pressed steel support arm goes to which side on my 66 Amazon with Spicer axle. I stripped the rear suspension to rebuild with polybushes and my good lady in her wisdom tided the garage jumbling up the arms. The poly bushes for the axle have a large taper on the inside , are these mounted with the taper towards the diff or wheel. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Default rear axle support arm

Hi Ken,
The pressed steel rear support arms are slightly off set. If you hook the rear part over the axle casing on either side, the front mount should then be slightly offset towards the centre of the car.

I don't think that's the question being asked. If you are talking about the large ring that goes around the axle it's possible that the groove in it is offset a bit to one side and that should match the ridge in the arm and the half round clamp. It's been a while since I've been there and don't have an arm at hand.

Thankyou both for your assistance. I managed to get the suspension rebuilt, l had to stick to standard bushes for the axle as the poly versions were near impossible to clamp around. The garage is now out of bounds to my wife.

Regards
Ken
