struck a reet good Deal today ....

as you now I bottomed out the Laguna prob today & talking to Paul he was ready to Part with it so I thought I'd ask "Mother" if she wanted it to Tootal about in (I DRIVE SHE sits & waves like the Queen!!!) uses it fer Hospital Appointments visitin the Cemetery & shopping & Such like.

anyways I asks "Mother" if shes interested .. but NO she prefers a Volvo (Can't Argue there !!!LOL) ...so we get to chattin & she says she would NOT be adverse to swopping out the 850 for "Something" ..

Que A ring to Brian .... "Wot yer got fella" ... Nowt much but pop up & see wot you can find ..

I SETS OFF & True enough he aint got much & I have a Buttie & a Brew & a general Chat ... Then he mentions hes just sold the 03 Plate S80 D5 outside..

but HEY!!!! the guy that bought it is trading in a 2001 S80 D5 & THATS Interesting .... So we gets to "Negotiations" ...

after 2 Hours we reach a deal ......

FER THIS>>>>>>>>>>>

2000 S80 D5 158K mileage, 11 Months MOT & "Part" Service History !!!!

now Remember this is "Sight UNSEEN" but HELL £500 Quid & a 1994 850 SE ... Gotta be worth a punt !!!!

Let me know what you think of it Keith, looking at S80 D5 myself. Was thinking S60 at one point, but after having had a sit and a fiddle in it, its obvious that its not big enough for someone my size lol, so S80 it is.

ill agree tho that much younger a motor has an appeal , but then the 850 is in tip top nick,,

tho i suspect the real reason is that silver cars look cleaner for longer > need less washing ....
