c70 window switch

hi
im looking for a c70 drivers side window switch and i looked on ebay and some came up saying s70/v70/c70 but these are 4 window switches
does anyone no if the 4 window switch will fit/work on a c70 as mines only got the 2 windows

sort of .... It WILL Work ..BUT it wont fit in the hole in the door !!!

I had a reet problem trying to find one (At the "Right" price)

thanks i'll get one as a put me by till i find one at right price also how do i find out more info about my car ive recently got a c70 t5 in blue on the back it says t5r but a friend said they never made one its got leather electric memory seats etc but on log book it says c70 t5 auto

It VERY common that "Idiots" put the "R" on the back of a C70 T5....... Volvo NEVER Made a C70 T5R ....

The Phase 1 C70 came in two guises a C70 GS & a C70 GT ...

As yours has Electric Seats yours will DEFFO be a "GT" model..

As you can see from my sig I have a C70 GT in saffron .. anything else yer not sure about give me a shout & I'll try & help out

thankyou very much mine is also a 98 r reg i was gunna put pics up but cant find camera lol as its got projection front lights and a r radiator grill so i guess some has spent a bob a two trying to make it look like a r

Minty,

as yours is a 98 model you will not have an "ME7" engine (electronic Throttle Module" ect) you should have a simple throttle Cable & a Dizzy cap ect ..(same as the Elder v70's & 850's) ...

The "Power" difference between a T5 & a T5R is only 10 BHP anyhow ... !!! Yours will have a b5234 T3 Engine & the "R" Engine will be a B5234 T4 Engine (its just a bigger Turbo Really!!!)

ive no idea all i no is its a r reg 2.3 t5 with leather but does look good with the aftermarket 18s fitted and lights i was thinking of changing the wheels for some 16s or 17s though

I have 17's on mine (BBS Split Rims) & my good Mate Andy (Thanatos) had 16 or 17's (can't remember which) but anyhow he recently changed them for 18's & having driven his C70 with both sets on I find the 18's are FAR BETTER in Ride quality than the 16 or 17's he had on before,

Andy will be on the board later & i'm sure he'll comment further

andy got "Around" this Prob Minty But I can't remember how he did it ... he'll be on later after hes finished work ... Then we'll know fer sure !!!
