What is the output from the etm? would it not be possible to get an electronics expert (I can thin of a few) who could modify the output of the Bosch etm, mimic that of the earlier faulty one? The issue I could see is that of the handshake with the ECU. But as ever things are never that simple.

My 2000 T5 is going in on Monday, possible ETM, rough idling and and jolts coming off the throttle.
Could it be the VVT timing is out?
Will also check the MAF
Any thing else I should think of?
Mine is is 135k fsh model which was cheap LOL!!! I wonder why.
Bridgend volvo inde (very good) cleaned contacts and ran better but now showing same issues.
