Thermostat replacement v70 2010

Good evening. Will start by exusing my poor english(norwegian user). Ive recently purchased a v70 2.4 diesel 2010 and its the best car ever, but now i have to replace my thermostat. Tried to do so late last night, but failed undoing it from the car. Anybody with a diy list for replace this? Its in the back of the engine.

Hi I have been down that route with my son's V70 a few years back. Took it to main dealers in the end and paid them to do the job at £240 labour it was a bargain. My earlier 2008 D5 and some later models I believe have the thermostat on the front of engine and it a far easier job.

Hi also had this problem with previous 2010 XC70
took it to main dealers for them to do
It even took them longer than Volvos allocated time
So well worth the visit

I did the swap today, took me about 6 hours. Termostat was gone. Thanks for quick replys 🙂
