Alloy Wheel Damage

Hey Guys,

I just noticed two wheels had some damage on them, one looks like normal fix it type repair but the other looks a bit weird like a tiny bit of the wheel was missing or that it was damaged and someone has sanded it?

Anyway if you had any thoughts or ideas let me know.

Second one sure looks like a quick fix job.. the first one is just curbage.. You bought the car new?

Nearly new 1st owner was the General Sales Manager of the dealership and he put a couple of thousand miles on it, the first one I think was there before and they agreed that would be fixed, the second one to my knowledge has never been fixed or even spotted by me before so would be strange - it does look like its been sanded down no?

Didn't really notice it until today.

Yeah, it sure looks like previous damage was just sanded down to mask it.. did they at least bother to put some clearcoat over?..

Looking at the damage on the tyre sidewall it looks like it has been kerbed and as you suspect sanded down to hide the damage to the wheel.

Thanks Guys,

Was going back to them for a few rectification pieces they promised to do including the front wheel that is clearly damaged, so will query the wheel that looks like its had some sort of weird repair done on it.

Found another small nick on a back wheel today so will ask them what damage was listed when I bought the car :-)
