Question for Mitchy
Mitchy, does your car have the option fitted to change the power steering.
The short cut below is to the online owner’s manual and the option I'm interested in is the speed related steering force. As you may have read there's a bit of confusion about this option on the 2.0d R-Design, so I thought I'd ask someone who has one. http://www.volvocars.com/SiteCollect..._tp9686web.pdf Thanks MyGetaV70 Looks great by the way. |

I get mine on 9th of April after a 10 week wait ( factory order) now all week ive been checking this with my dealer he said it has the steering and has also checked with Volvo I spoke with motability re this ( the scheme i pay the car with) Ive had 2 schaools of thought from them You cant argue a point that dont exist, the car may come as claimed with progressive steering so no issue If it doesnt then the car may still perform to how you want it again until you try you have no idea You will only know how it feels when you have it, the test drive cars have the old steering so its unfair i feel to hold you to a commitment if its significantly diffrent Thankfully Sandancer has led the way if the car is a lemon ( the first send back is the hardest) and if a few of us all talk and support each other theres safety in numbers. Just from this forum this month ive read 5 people now with this car on mobility ( when you think were in a recession and theres not that many large cars sold and the backing of a big group like motability who do seem to care about there customers feelings) we should be ok But Mithcy its been a week time for a report of fuel and steering etc for rest of us |
