Default high pitch sound

i have a high pitch ringing sound only when the stereo is in Pro Logic mode (2004 C70). The dealer replaced the amp and radio and it is still there. he thinks it could be a pinched wire. i think it could be some sort of high pitched interference. any ideas?

From memory there should be a supression capacitor fitted (on alternator)
your dealer or specialist will be able to confirm that.

alternatively you can fit a supression capacitor on the ignition feed to the radio.
