Default V60 D5 Vacuum pump Valve

2 threads later and no replies. Maybe ill get lucky this time.
I got me a Vacuum Pump Valve 31430694 as i started having popping sounds that go when brake pedal is depressed.
Has anybody changed that? Am only asking to get access to it without removing much. If anybody has any experience with removing it please share.

I started having a rattle from the vac pump, swapped the valve out for £64 through frf and sorted it.

Half hour job if that.

I've had the vacuum pump valve issue on my XC60, it occured only when engine was hot, on tick over and when throttling off either when slowing or changing gear. After the valve was changed I no longer get the noise on tick over but still do when throttling off etc. As the noise is not generated by the valve but a component on the vacuum system I was wondering if this component now needs to be changed or if its normal operation?
Does anyone know what this component is or what it does?

Here is a link to a video of the noise and the part.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHD8WR_Ec8o
