Default Warning on panel "Elec charge high stop safely"

Hi my S60 is experiencing some electrical problems recently (getting a bit old).
dashboard warning showing Elec charging high stop safely! Can anyone offer advise please? Battery has been "playing up" for some time now ie time clock losing and changing time, starting problems on occassion due to insufficient battery power and having to jump start, this after completing a long drive!!

Hi,

You will need to post this in the section called 'General Motoring and Motoring Discussions' or in the S60 specific section, your more likely to get an answer

Get the alternator and battery tested and if it isn't up to scratch replace it with a good brand. Like all modern cars with complicated electronics a battery problem or charging problems can cause a lot of other problems.
