Replaced head - now for fuel starvation
Hi,
My cam belt jumped approx 100 degrees, and hence smashed the head and valves. I’ve had a new head, valves and tappets fitted, with a new cam belt and all timed up. The car starts sweet as a nut and runs fine for a short time, but then slowly the revs die and it stalls. The DPF has been cleaned and it still happens, could this be a fuel pump timing issue? Or can anyone shed any light on the issue? The engine rebuild has been done correctly, with conpression across all heads spot on and timing is also spot on? Model is and XC60 Diesel, 2011, Edrive. Thanks in advance!! Last edited by brighter01; Jan 29th, 2019 at 21:33. Reason: Missed to list car model |
