Sold
As discussed in the Amazon general Forum - many thanks for your input re price: -
I havn't had time to use this lovely car this year and I have decided to offer her for sale - initially through the club - hoping to find a good home - , I,m not desperate to sell but here are some pictures and details, She's a a 1970 131 non overdrive car It's been resprayed very well at some time, (same colour as original) also prior to me buying - it has been re trimmed, mileage shows about 56K, no MOT at the moment, but I will get one, everything works - great firestone radials, new sports simmonds exhaust, runs very quietly, good oil pressure and no temperature issues she drives beautifully - There is a down side (isn't there always!) - over the last winter - some very small paint (rust) blistering along the top of each wing (about 3-4" long and 1/4 wide, on the n/s and a tiny blister on the o/s) and as far as I can make out that is the only rust on the car she's perfectly drivable and hardly noticable - but I am being very picky!! A year ago I paid £5.8K for her (possibly too much) just had a £400 brake o/h - I have fitted a new simmonds sports exhaust, extra instruments are tastfully fitted - good new carpets inc boot with new felt, new fiberboard in foofwells and boot sides. I hope the pictures do it justice, but if you email me I can take and send more if your genuinly interested. There are two prices £4500 if I have to MOT it, or £4250 as she is - prices are firm and it is excellent value - comes with a big history file, handbook and manual There are some pictures of the interior on the Amazon general forum with my original enquiry re price - Thanks for looking Last edited by cumbrianmale; May 9th, 2013 at 13:57. |

Thanks for Interest - more pics
Hi - I have had some questions already - many thanks
Attatched are picture of her hind quarters - I fealt behind ! and feels very solid Also floors, front and rear are very solid, - when I got her, the carpets were shabby and badly fitted, so I removed the front seats - stripped out all of the carpet and felt - the floors had some very light surface rust which wire brushed off - I repainted then with primer and 2 pack epoxy (same colour as car) I fitted all new felt - even up behind the dash - and a new carpet set from Simon at Brookhouse hope this helps |
