How many miles has it done? What year car was it taken out of?

Price? Be reasonable - im reasonably skint and need to take into account the cost of collection.

FIRST DIBS BY THE WAY!

Wouldn't mind this myself. Does anybody know a cheap courier that would bring this up to Scotland?

Cheers

There is this one as well on ebay but from a 940. Don't know the seller or anything regarding the condition of the gearbox.

dont forget the related parts are needed , axle flange , propshaft , and maybe crossmember , With the OD gearbox the axle ratio was usualy lower..
if you add the box with the original axle OD will be a higher extra gear , great for cruising but less torque when you come to hills , but so easy to flick the switch and drop back to 4th that it isnt a problem .

I converted dads 1973 144 S to OD also fitted a 340 1.7 5 speed gearbox to our 1400 343 that works quite well , quiet cruising but not a lot of pull in 5th ...ideal ratios for a bit of turbo boost now !
