got the strip nicely fitted with no gaps at all. The fitting order must be right. I am just missing the a grey moulding for the other side which I have ordered from Parts Monster.

not a problem, I am ok now after modifying the moldings. But for others who need them yeah they need to be about 2mm shorter if you could find them. I been having issues trying to copy the photos I took to show before and after modifying them, once sorted I'll post some photos.
