Knocking noise when coasting - Page 2

Yeah. Thinking about it later I kinda realised that if it had gotten any worse I'd have stopped to investigate further and the wheel wobble would have been noticeable.

Can't understand why they didn't slacken off further though?

I once had a car that didn't knock, so i thought i'd pop along to a shop that specialised in it, my word, what a pleasant error.....!

I had exactly the same issue; tightened the front wheel bolts by about 1/8 of a turn and hey presto the issue has gone.
I'm off to the continent at the end of the week for a few '000 miles driving and hopefully, the bolts will not loosen.
Saved me some head scratching and a trip to the local garage
