MY18 XC90 retro fit Volvo reversing camera cost

Does anyone know the rough dealer cost to retrofit a revering camera to a 2018 XC90 T8 Twin engine. (Yes I'll phone a dealer but prices can vary quite a bit) Ta!

If a dealer is doing an offer it's around £700 if not it's closer to £1000, absolute robbery tbh and the camera should've been on all cars as standard anyway imo given the cost of the cars originally.

Not just the cost - the sheer size of the thing! I must admit I didn't even bother to check out the reversing camera situation when I bought it - I assumed it would have one - It's not a base model (R-Design Twin Engine) and it was made in 2018 - I guess I shouldn't assume things!

Mine was an Inscription and didn't have one either not that it would've been much use other than judging the wall behind as it's kinda blinkered anyway.

I hope you are enjoying the car!

I felt the same when I got my V90. I couldn't believe that the length of the car didn't justify a camera but hey-ho. I managed to cut what I felt was a reasonable deal with my local dealer at £600 fitted.

I justified it to myself based on the cost of a rear bumper re-spray/replacement if I knocked it.

Having the camera is a game-changer and IMO definitely worth the outlay.

Thanks for the info - I've survived two years without the camera so far - but every time I reverse into a spot the lack of a camera annoys me more! It's creeping up on me!
