Looking for a good Independent Volvo Garage near Derby for service's
Anyone have any recommendations?

Depends whether you want to travel a bit....I tend to use the Leicester-based http://www.sheffieldandmeredith.com (on account of living in Leicester!).

They have always been solid enough for me, and a chunk cheaper than the main dealer....

More locally for you, I have no idea whether https://volsaaengineering.com are decent?
A bit further south (but not as far as Leicester) I can see http://www.hallamandsuthernssaabservices.co.uk ?

Cheers...I've call the local garage volsaa, they are more than main dealer 😳

We would rather go to a garage that others can recommend...
The car we are hoping to by needs it 9yr service, belts and tensioners needed.. main dealer want £449 or offer me a 3 yr service pack at £1300 not Inc cambelt

Speak to Claytons of Mansfield.

They are a main dealer but only a service centre. They're usually a lot cheaper than other main dealers

Spoke to them and came across very knowledgeable and offering lots of advice..
As my son in law has now purchased the v60 ,he is arranging to take it to the garage for them to advise on belt conditions and give it a quick once over..

son in law took his resent purchased v60 to this garage,
had it checked over and all belts and auto oil change.
all checked out ok,

Can I cheekily piggy-back on this thread, please, to ask if anybody has any recommendations for a Volvo specialist (or recommended general service garage) in the South or West of Manchester, ideally within a 10 mile radius of the city or thereabouts?
