Default Any solutions?

I have the exact same issue in MY17 S60 where the call is barely usable if you're moving due to ambient noise. I have the Bluetooth call volume turned all the way up on my iPhone and in the car. My wife drives a MY12 XC60 and calls are just fine in that car. I cannot figure this out to save my life. I had the S60 in for an oil change and had the dealership check it out and they thought I was crazy. I have to go back sometime and make them ride with me since they likely didn't drive the car down the road while trying to carry on a conversation. Its extremely irritating. Any thoughts?

Thanks I had exact same problem with XC60 I just purchased. Resolved by turning up iPhone volume whilst making a Bluetooth call as suggested

Add me to the group of people who fixed this same issue in my C70 by turning up phone volume while on a BlueTooth call

I have the same issue as well with my 2017 XC60.
Volume on the car at max, volume on the phone at may and you can barely hear the person you are trying to talk to in the car. The volume at there end is fine its just very low in the car.

Have you raised the volume on the phone when in a call?
This will increase the bluetooth volume which is a different setting to the normal phone volume control.

Local dealer used VIDA to increase the phone volume in the car software for me and it is better now, not perfect but better.

Worth a trip to get the dealer to do the same?

as long as your volume is turned up if you are still having problems then its a ICM/IHU sw update required approx 90 minutes big down load

Default XC60 low volume bluetooth calls

I have an XC60 with low volume on handsfree & iphone 8
When you start a call on handsfree quickly press the + volume up button to full and this increases the Bluetooth volume to full.
My problem is now sorted. Hope this helps
