Default Soot filter full - engine cutting off

My car decided to go into limp mode on the way to Gatwick last week. I managed to get to the airport and drop off my passengers, but after that it got worse. The car ran extremely slowly and the engine cut off some times. A police patrol escorted me to a side road where I had to call for assistance.
Now back home, my Vida has shown me ECM- 2A00 pressure sensor particulate trap - Signal too high, ECM- 2A30 particulate trap - Blocked & ECM- 2BAA particulate trap - Value. I have tried to regenerate the DPF but the engine is cutting off at over 1500rpm. Same thing if I’m just pressing the accelerator, engine cuts off at about 1500rpm. I am considering replacing the Pressure sensor particulate trap sensor, but reading other threads where that is faulty, it seems like people at least can get their car to limp mode (3000rpm). The DPF regeneration process need the engine above 2000rpm to start. Has anyone else had the car cutting off at 1500rpm with these codes? Should I suspect something else than the sensor being faulty?

Thanks in advance for any tips that can help me solve this.

model and year would help check the full length of the pipes from the dpf to the sensor these are known to fail. if you end up buying a dpf pressure switch dont buy a cheap one get a genuine part. ask me how i know.

How did all this start? Did you first get a SOOT FILTER FULL message then ignore it?

how much fuel is in the car some times its impossible to run a regen if there is not enough fuel to complete the process this is a common glitch on honda and other models .although iv never had it on older volvos might be worth a check.

The message came up when it entered limp mode. My unqualified guess it that it tried to regenerate the DPF and failed because it’s too full. The car is usually used for short commute in low speed so it may not have done a regeneration in a while.
But my question is if the failed pressure sensor/ pipes can make the car cut off at 1500rpm or if that’s likely something else. If something else, I would expect a code for that in Vida.

try clearing all codes before attempting re gen driving with the soot full message can also trigger tcm messages stopping you from driving as revs will not rise it a safety thing to stop you doing more damage .

I have cleared all the codes. And the come back. The problem is that re gen requires the engine to rev to 2000rpm but it cuts off before that so re gen fails.

if you have any leaks in any of the dpf sensor pipes the sensor which is a pressure switch which sends messages to the ecu to operate the egr glow plugs and fuel air system and temp sensors . the easy way to diagnose is to call the dpf doctor it what they do day in day out they will find your problem for you and repair if you so wish .or fix it your self using the info supplied by the company there are some youtube vids of there work.

I went under the car to check the rubber lines to the dpf and found a big pipe under the engine that had popped out. It put it back in place, and after a couple of attempts to force the re gen and telling the car the sensor was replaced (again) the re gen actually worked. It took about 35 minutes and after that it was no soot, the alarms cleared and to car is fine. Happy days.
