Diesel leak near crankshaft pulley
I had the offside front wheel off yesterday from my recently acquired 2009 XC60 D5 AWD and from there you can see the twin fuel feed pipes passing on their way down from the top of the engine through to the back of the vehicle.
I could see a small drip of diesel hanging from the pipes which had also sprayed the surrounding area. I don’t want to leap to any conclusions by replacing parts (eg these fuel feed pipes) before seeking this forums advice as often with leaks they can be from other places and just get sprayed about. So, do you think this is indeed a leak in the pipes or from elsewhere and if you think it’s the pipes, is it a DIY job? |
