Only reserved the car at the moment... It is a late 2014 model, I believe it to be the updated version as it has the sensus audio....why what is the issue with 4 or 5 cylinder?
I think the engine code is D5204tx.. but not 100%sure |

[QUOTE=Clan;2837298]cam belt intervals different
5 cylinder is cam belt and tensioner every 108000 miles or 10 years which ever comes first together with Aux belt and it's tensioner. Aux belt ONLY is changed every 54000 miles .. cheers so the aux belt needs doing , with the car at 51kmiles👍. And timing belt in 2 years ... I may try and get the belt and timing done now in the deal..🤔. Does the water pump or anything else need doing at the same time? |

[QUOTE=Steve67;2837314]have you driven it? there was a problem on SOME cars around 2012 - 14 which was fixed by around the age of yours. a bump when selecting D or R . And signs of that and it will need attention ranging from a software update to modified pump oil seal rings just inside the gearbox .
( always good to get the whole cars software updated if it has been neglected for a few years ) Software updates are free with a volvo SELEKT used car and at every approved volvo service. at 51000 miles it would be good to have the gearbox oil changed , if you are keeping it , otherwise it will go well over 100,000 when it ought to be changed . There is no auto gearbox service oil change specified by volvo unless you are doing " arduous" Journeys or taxi work . in which case it is every 36000 miles .
