Weedy Windscreen washers
Hi all
I have just taken reciept of my new S80 2.4D SE Lux in Magic Blue and it's fantastic. So far I have done 800 miles and I am avereging 43 mpg so not bad there. However, the only thing I can find fault with is the windscreen washers are a little on the weedy side. On my old V50 they really forced the water out, covering the whole windscreen, and even forcing the car behind to wipe his screen, however on the S80, the water dribbles out only coming half way up the screen. Is this normal or should I have it looked at? Thanks Martin |

I would say have it looked at. My s80 is a lot older than yours so dont really think a like for like comparison would be correct, but when I used mine all 3 jets sort of fan out and totaly covers every inch of the windscreen. I have never seen jets that good before.

S80 washers!
Hi,
Definitely get them looked at, the screen and headlamp washers on my 2008 S80 always cause following traffic to put their wipers on. The embarrassing bit is if you decide to wash when a motorcyclist is weaving past in slow traffic, they really do get drenched by the headlamp jets! The reservoir does seem to empty fairly quickly though. Regards, Paul |

Had it looked at today. The tubing had got kinked somewhere, but now it's fine. Thanks for the advice
