TuneIn out for a full week now
TuneIn on my XC90 has gone dead. Any attempt to reconnect to my account are just not registering. Have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Not even recommended stations are displayed.
Last time this happened a few months back, I inquired with TuneIn: guy at the receiving end had no clue and said it was a Volvo issue. Inquired with Volvo and response was as expected: it is a TuneIn issue, we wouldn't know what to do. In the hope that somebody from Volvo might follow this thread, I add my disgruntled contribution. The website about TuneIn outage does not really give any clue, I am afraid. |

Any attempt to reconnect to my account are vain, the app is just not registering the credentials. Have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Not even recommended stations are displayed. Last time this happened a few months back, I inquired with TuneIn: the guy at the receiving end had no clue but was sure it was a Volvo issue. Same here in XC90 T8. Been off for over a week. Uninstall / re-install with no effect. Spotify and other apps working fine.

Same issue here - TuneIn not responding.
Just a thought - is it anything to do with TuneIn now being a subscription service requiring a monthly $9.99 payment? I have TuneIn at home working fine that is ported via the SONOS interface, so could our problems being the Volvo interface has been deactivated?

Yeah, is it a worldwide glitch of Volvo. Tuneit itself stills work, but the bridge with SENSUS does not.
Hopefully Volvo will fix it soon ...

My car had its 3 year service today and the first thing that I noticed when I got it back, was an OTA update for TuneIn.
I was told by the Service Dept that the latest software updates had been applied, but not sure if this also included TuneIn, or it was just a coincidence? tem.
