Those seats look virtually immaculate!
I cleaned and fed the rears as they were perfect. I took the fronts to a local trimmer as although the had no rips or tears they were a little tired. He swapped bases and did his magic on the drivers bolsterIMG_3552.jpg

Good question! Don't think i've got those on mine although i have the outlets. I know on the Rover door cards that have something similar, when you look on the other side of the door card, there are two star washers, one each end. Pry them off using a pair of external circlip pliers underneath them, use a flat punch to reshape them for refitting then pull the vents out.

Not sure if Volvo have used a similar technique but wouldn't be surprised.

On another note, i keep thinking about adding some walnut veneer to the door card inserts, the ones obviously missing from your doorcards in the pic. Currently got a dark grey fluffy material on mine and i miss seeing a nice bit of walnut veneer in the car!

Yuck! They be plastic wood!

I was thinking more along the lines of :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Walnut-Ve...y/283559102769

Glue it on then lacquer it. With the door card inserts, it's easier as they're flat. Haven't quite figured out how to get the curves in the veneer without cracking it on things like the headlight switch surround, heater and heated mirror switch/hazard warning switch/sunroof switch surrounds etc. More research into that technique is needed!
