The only way you could tell with some degree of certainty which brake parts or other parts were fitted to your car in the late 1980's early 1990's was using the Dealer's microfiche (parts reader) system for your particular car. Nothing computerised then!! Unfortunately as with most things of that era they were destroyed!
Fortunately our local the Parts guy was always very helpful and when I came to 'do' some front end work or other stuff and he would give me a print-out of the relative microfiche detailing the part fitted to my car at manufacture; all of which I still have. Even so, there were still a few options to size fitted so it was always best to go in with a few basic measurements !! Bob |
