I'd be very happy with that on a long poke. Hopefully I get somewhere near that driving to the Alps next February.

Great idea! Thank you both. I did set up a Volvo account on the website, I'll give the dealer a call beforehand and make sure that's all ready when I pick it up.

I'm guessing as mine was built September it will be a MY19 model. I only do 8-9k miles per year so not too fussed about the mpg, it's more the space and refinement I'm after.
Ticked a few of the options like HK audio, android auto, BLIS, proper spare wheel, HUD and winter pack I think (ordered back in June!).

It will be MY20. Volvo start their model years in Apr/May but label it with the following year's year.

Not sure about MY20 but the 70 litre tank was a £50 option on previous years (except T8 where I guess the battery uses the space). My MY19 had the 70 litre tank ticked and I can get 500 miles to a tank on a motorway run. I’m not too bothered about MPG as I just love the refinement of the T5 coming from a first gen XC90 D5. Very smoooooth.

Yep it was a factory build, so looks like a MY20 then. 70 litre tank, that's going to be scary when I fill it up the first time compared to my current 45 litre one!

Just to clarify, when I say make sure VOC is set up in the car, I do not mean the VOC app you have signed in to on your phone or tablet, I mean the Volvo On Call system in the car, it allows you to communicate with Volvo call centre and use the SOS button in case of emergency or breakdown etc, you can also use it for other communications or general help and it allows your VOC app to communicate with the car.
You should have a 4 digit pin number that you use to set it up when you go through the hand over process with your new car.

The VOC setup is now part of the PDI ...

15 gallon tank/70 litres
Just driven up to Scotland and filled up on arrival did 32.5 mpg, bad traffic and headwind dropped consumption a bit

I'm jealous of your tank having the paltry 60 litre offering. I'd have 100 litres if I could!

Shame about the 32.5 on the T5, not a very good unit is it you'd hope for 35-37 on a decent haul. It's doesn't even sound good it's a bit tappety, wonder if it's a Volvo unit of some collaboration. Ho-Hum
