Default Battery Problem?

My V50 2.0 petrol had been left standing for a couple of days. Came to start it and it sounded like the starter motor was turning over a bit slower than usual. When it started the "check power steering" message flashed up for a second and then disappeared. Drove 10 miles, no warning lights and drove as usual. Got home and checked the battery voltage with the engine off - 12.6v. Plugged into an OBD tool, no pending or stored codes. No obvious damage to any of the battery wires, no leakage from battery and no corrosion on the terminals. Could this be the first signs of the battery needing replacement?

Thanks

how old is the battery? a good motor factors should be able to test your battery with high current load tester. if your battery is failing now would be a good time to change it as winter can soon find any weakness. due to use of heated rear window h lights heater blower heated seats ect. check the alternator is working
