I'm trying to find out what the red triangle with exclamation mark means and how do I remedy this?

Isn't it a general warning? You need to read the code for more specific details, but red suggests you should do it fairly urgently.

Which model?
Have you looked in your handbook, they are all in there

What model is it ?,

The triangle comes up in yellow or less urgent things and red for more urgent, recently has the coolant low message come up on my S60 and you should get a text message come up with it , pressing the end of the stalk can re display the message, or remove it but if its more urgent like the coolant it will pop up regularly, kinda makes sense. Im curious how it detects the coolant low, as this only just dropped below the low level on the expansion tank but it detected it..

If it is the same tank as used on the V70s then it reads it from the float level resistance which varies as the level drops..not sure if the restistance increases with lower level or vv but whichever it is it works very well!
