Default v50 Bluetooth

Is there any factory bluetooth option that can be fitted to the v50? My car is the lux with upgraded audio pack (ipod, dolby audio, etc) but I'd like to get bluetooth for calls.

If I have to I'll just get an aftermarket bluetooth kit.

Only post, approx, 2008 and not sure if it was standard. Before then unfortunately not, there was a phone option but that had a GSM sim so not exactly convinient as UK networks don't tend to provide 2 sims for one number.

Certainly isn't standard, my S40 2009 SE Lux has aux and upgraded sound but no Bluetooth.

We had an Alpine EZI-DAB in the V50 for years and yesterday I swapped it out for a Pure Highway 600 which does DAB radio, Bluetooth audio and handsfree calling. It was only about £80 from Amazon and is well worth the money.

I'm looking at getting that too but ideally I want something that's totally concealed like the GROM in my C70.

I looked at the GROM units but can't justify the cost.

I thought we couldn't get them for our models?

I can tell you from my experience of the C70 it's seamless and works so well and easy to install, well worth the money.

If your stereo has an aux input, then you can get one of these from ebay for next to nothing. I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Its only for streaming audio via Bluetooth, not phone calls.
