Question Wish Bluetooth module?

I've just seen this on Wish https://www.wish.com/gb/product/car-...93b163833334bb I'm a bit sceptical because there's so little information on the listing.. Would this work? It looks like it's intercepting a connector (somewhere behind the dash I presume??)

So little information in the listing makes it difficult to tell. From the pictures it looks like it intercepts the wiring to the AUX socket in the centre console, so won't be any use on early models that don't already have an AUX input.

The multi pin connector looks like the one on the back of the IAM (CD player) but I dont have one in front of me, so can't be sure.

Got one of these coming from China. Its only £7.50, so not the end of the world if its garbage.
Its just a bit tidier than having an aux cable trailing about the cabin.

If you think the virus will be transported and viable on a package like this then you needn't worry. If you are saying the risk as in financial.. it's £7.50..... I think the real risk is this will be a junky bluetooth 3.0 device that will sound pony...

the device? I don't have. I went for an Anker Bluetooth receiver from Amazon (£18). Bluetooth 5.0, sleep and power wake up via USB, plus 12h battery. I plug it into Aux port in arm rest cubby. Run a usb cable through cubby hinge into rear cig lighter.

So, when I start car, the cig lighter powers up, wakes up the anker receiver automatically. My phones Bluetooth connects and away I go. Very seemless, and the cig lighter cable is basically invisible and out of the way. I got a dual port flush fit USB cig lighter to plug into rear. So if I have rear passengers they can charge phone etc.

As BT 5.0 the sound quality is excellent. And I didn't need to mess about with dashboard or stereo din to install. Oh, and I still have an aux port if I need it.
