Default North West, the next meet.

(Admins, any chance of a "North West" Prefix for above, as it would be useful for us rarther than Cumbria).

First of all once again thank you to all that attended the Meet on the 22nd at Preston, was a good turn out and a really enjoyable day. It gives us a good starting point we can learn from and build from.

The main problem I think was the location (I know, my bad) as it was a little busy on there and getting room to get all the cars together was a challenge. I know Mikealder did suggest another to me yesterday but as I have a brain like a collender it's gone, sorry mate! I do think the rough area was about right especially with the member base we have so far.

As for Time and date I thought we got that pretty well tbh, and looking at this month it'd translate to October 20th @ 1pm, that also leaves the last weekend if Jaygee wishes to run another Yorkshire meet, as I know a few like to go to both if possible.

So, over to you guys, onwards and upwards!

David.

3PM is a bit of a late start I would prefer 1 or 2 latest. What's other people's thoughts?

The place I suggested was Quary carpark at Beacon Fell, this is a large flat carpark and Beacon Fell is a working forrest on the top of a hill about 8 miles from M6 J32 (Preston) there is a cafe (short(ish) walk) or you can drive around, the cafe carpark is too small and tends to get full with visitors - Great location for a walk in the trees, snow, ice whatever mother nature throws at you, plenty of well made trails through the woods, you can even see the Isle-of-Man on a very clear day from the summit.

13:00Hr is a better bet though, put this in to Googl emaps on the search option to locate it

Beacon Fell, by Country Park (Unmarked), Goosnargh, Preston District

Quary car park is the road leading in to the center next to the small lake - Mike

Old Nells? The idea of food sounds good though, I'm not one to turn it down! (I know, that's obvious )
