Re The meets
Petey80 you are welcome to any meetings. Anyone else who is viewing this thread and reside anywhere near are welcome the more the merrier.
We are a great bunch and this is about being social as well as Volvos. I have been away for a few days phone free. Now I will look at the September meet. I will speak with Elvington and try to negotiate a group package. In Yorkshire speak " for nowt " you can only ask. Regards David Pearson. |

Elvington sounds like it would be the best bet for me too. albeit 70-odd mile away
Are those the definite venues do we think? Forgive my ignorance, I've just never actually been to any kind of meet like this. Is this an event organised by a club (are firm numbers needed at this stage?) or just a place for northern based Volvo owners to meet up if they fancy? Would be really good to see some of these motors and their owners in the flesh. cheers all!

To answer your questions.
Quote:
Elvington was suggested and was generally accepted so I will contact them to sort out the details and a date once done I will publish it on here and in the Volvo driver Mag. As I have said anyone is welcome it matters not if your from outside the county. It is social as well as Volvo. As for numbers attending it is not set in stone if you want to attend you are welcome. I hope this answers your questions. Regards David Pearson. |

Many Thanks for the information. It's really good for you and others to have taken the initiative to set this up. It sounds like it will be a great day and a good opportunity to meet and talk motors.
